The Riad Marosko is located in the heart of the medina (close to the Bab Marrakech gate), in a very quiet and peaceful area. We are five minutes walk from the local beach and typical Moroccan market (souk).This traditional Moroccan 'riad' style house has been tastefully renovated by the French owners to retain all its original charm and yet provide a luxurious base from which to explore Essaouira. Let us welcome you in our cheerful yellow lobby which leads through to the atrium featuring all original stone columns. Whilst there, take a moment to enjoy the typical Moroccan lounge surrounding the ornate fountain. Stroll along the covered walkway surrounding the atrium, we offer you the choice of 7 en-suite bedrooms with a small lounge, walk around corridors,on 3 floors. Each floor has its own colour theme.There are 5 duplex suites with mezzanine bedrooms. Some featuring duplex can hold 2 to 4 people, with singles or double beds depending on your needs. We also have 2 suites for 2 people (double bed). All are en-suite, shower room decorated in the warm colours of 'tadelakt'Take the stairway up to the panoramic terraces, and enjoy continental breakfast served to you on the sun terrace. From the panoramic sundeck admire the various views of the isle of Mogador, the city's roofs, the harbour, seaside and in the distance the forests. Or simply sunbathe in the complete privacy of the sundeck.
Hvordan kommer jeg meg dit - Riad Marosko GjestehusAt Essaouira you will find us at 5 min. walk from the main gate 'Bab Marrakech', with kept car park and the bus company 'Supratours'.Our house is only 5mins walk from this place: You must walk the largest Marrakech gate and the first left street just after the gate = Agadir street and the house is in the 4th fourth lane on the left in the Agadir street (signpost at the enter house).If you travel with another bus Company, your arrival is at the "gare routière"; take a "petit taxi" (price 6dhs for your 2) and ask the driver for this gate: Bab Marrakech.If you are by car when you arrive in Essaouira, with the beach on your left don't take the first street along the Sofitel hotel but the next right after (and before "hotel des iles") and get the kept car park of Marrakech gateThe best : it will be very easy for us to meet you at the bus stop Supratours or car park Bab Marrakech, since it is only 5mins walk from the Riad, as long as you let us know which one you'll be boarding.
